With any skill level and at any age you can learn how to make fresh pasta & gnocchi from scratch and prepare several sauces to accompany the different types of pasta. A hands on experience teaching how to make the dough, roll and cut to create an array of pasta, both long and filled.
Dishes may include gnocchi with homemade pesto, pumpkin filled ravioli with a burnt butter & sage sauce and homemade fettuccine with a traditional ragu. Enjoy a hearty Italian feast on completion with what you have created and enjoy with wine and a stunning sea view.

Long Lunch

Spend the morning cooking and then lunch will be served with Italian varietal wines and a beautiful sea view. A great day for beginners, cooks and foodies. Fresh market produce is used to create a four course lunch of antipasti, homemade pasta or seasonal risotto, main course with side dishes to accompany and dessert to finish.
This class is designed for any skill level and is a lovely way to enjoy authentic & delicious dishes in a relaxing environment.

Cookery Retreat
by the Sea

The 3 day Cookery Retreat is based on our Cookery trips to Italy but situated right here in Mount Martha. Whilst being accommodated for 2 nights at our resort style guest house (max 6 guests) with spectacular sea views and a pool, our aim over 3 days is to teach guests a repertoire of delicious & regional recipes from all over Italy using the freshest of our local and seasonal produce.
All the cook and dine classes are hands on with experienced cooks and beginners welcome. You will learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch, a hands on experience of making the dough, rolling and cutting the dough to create an array of both long and filled pasta. You will create and cook many dishes throughout the retreat to include fresh pasta, gnocchi & sauces, antipasti, meat, chicken, fish and desserts.
Gain a little insight in to Italian wines and learn about food and wine matching and menu balance. Visit local produce properties and wineries during your stay, relax by the pool and enjoy many of our in house Italian movies.
